Women’s night out

NEW DATE - FEBRUARY 2026
P.S. Kitchen, W 48th St, NY, NY

What if world-class schools were found in places most devastated by war?

Since the rebel invasion in Congo this January, when the M23 took control of the region where we work, we’ve been thrown into our hardest year yet. And yet, surprisingly, even in the midst unpreedented challenges, our programs haven’t weakened — they’ve only grown stronger.

We’d love for you to join us Thursday, November 13th, from 7:30–9:30 pm at P.S. Kitchen (W 48th St. NY, NY) for a Women’s Night Out. At this intimate gathering & photo exhibit, you’ll hear stories from the field, see powerful images from our schools, and hear how you can be a part of bringing transformation to regions affected by war.

This year has been marked by heightened conflict and uncertainty, and yet our impact has only expanded. Since 2015, Justice Rising has been working to ensure that children living in conflict have access to quality schooling. Last year we reached 27,000 students. This year, we’re on track to reach more than 50,000. For children living in war—where learning outcomes are the lowest in the world—this is no small victory. Education for each child means safety from abuctions into the rebel army, protection from trafficking or becoming a child bride, and alternatives to a life of poverty. Together, we can ensure that children in conflict have access to a great school.

We’d be honored if you could join us for this time of connection, stories, and hope.

Food and drinks provided.
