Justice Rising exists to transform war zones through education.
We believe that education is the most powerful tool to build peace and to break the cycle of war. We also believe that every child, regardless of circumstance, should have access to a quality education.
Justice Rising builds peace in war-affected communities by providing quality education to children at risk. We build schools, train teacher leaders, and develop community programs towards the goal of promoting peace and mitigating future conflict.

The Co-Founders of Justice Rising, Edison and Cassandra Lee, started the organization with the belief that education, especially in war zones, has the power to transform communities and even to disrupt cycles of conflict. Through education and community-based programs, Justice Rising can address the critical needs of children and families during and after prolonged periods of conflict and also combat extremist ideology.
