Justice Rising exists to see a world where every child affected by war has access to a great school.
We believe that education is the most powerful tool to build peace and to break the cycle of war. We also believe that every child, regardless of circumstance, should have access to a quality education.
Justice Rising educates children affected by war using our structured school improvement toolkit. We are working to reach 1 million children living in war with world-class schools by 2035.

The Co-Founders of Justice Rising, Edison and Cassandra Lee, started the organization with the belief that education, especially in war zones, has the power to transform communities and even to disrupt cycles of conflict. Through education and community-based programs, Justice Rising can address the critical needs of children and families during and after prolonged periods of conflict and also combat extremist ideology.
