Congo and Ebola in the News

In August 2018, Eastern Congo had an Ebola outbreak near the city of Beni, DRC. In the last months 7 months, we’ve watched as the disease spread and the crisis escalated to the second worst Ebola outbreak in history. Though this has been devastating for Eastern Congo, thankfully, as of the publishing of this blog, Ebola has not reached the city of Goma or our schools in the surrounding area.
