Get your church + community involved
“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4
We believe that God has called us as a global community to serve the poor, stand for the oppressed and to be his hands and feet to the world around us. In order to bring about change, we need the global Church community to stand and work together for the greatest impact. Get your church involved in breaking the cycle of war and poverty by building a school.
build a school
Make a financial pledge for a new school build in an under-served and under-resourced village affected by war.
You will receive a sponsorship packet that includes information on your new partner school and its students. Continue partnership through church-to-school interactions and other engagement opportunities, including short-term missions trips.
host a semiar
Did you know that 5.4 million people have died in Congo conflict?
Host an engagement seminar and educate people around the issues affecting millions of people in war zones. Request a Justice Rising representative to speak at our upcoming event.
We serve a God of justice and believe it is important to partner with Him in prayer. Please pray for our team and staff on the grounds in Eastern Congo as well as our staff in Los Angeles. Things to pray for include: wisdom and discernment in decision making, safety and protection on the grounds, and continued open doors to see God’s purposes fulfilled.
